Welcome back explorer, Zoltov has updated me with your discoveries. I recently learned from Ygnof that the remnants you brought him bear some cryptic markings which were carved by the slaves of the ancient civilization, but he and Zoltov are still trying to decipher the inscriptions.

I would like you to visit Tafa in Tirat. He had been ahead of us all during this investigation, however as of late he has been busy fighting off random assaults caused by Desert Mutations. Head east of the Gnarled Rocks and hunt them down so that Tafa may catch a break and update us with the investigation progress.

Before the epidemic started, we had a species of lizards roaming the desert, they were a good resource of food, but now, with this damned radiation, the lizards have mutated into dangerous beasts.
