The Giant Awakes

We were able to decipher more of the ancient writings, but barely in time. Somehow, someone was able to uncover the secrets before we did, so we need to act fast.

The writings teach us how the ancient pharaoh was cursed by the gods and locked inside the Great Pyramid using five seals. The rising of the mummy army and the awakening of the three priests indicate that first two seals have been broken. Moreover the locals are reporting earthquakes near the Gnarled Rocks, which most likely means that the great guardian of the desert has awoken. If the remaining two seals are broken, Limos will be in grave danger. Please head to the Gnarled Rocks and stop the guardian, and bring me any ancient remnants you find in there.

I once met a wanderer like you whose name was Exele or Ewelef, something like that. He was very helpful and forthcoming. Last I know he had been looking for a ship to travel to the southern continent. I wonder if he was able to find one... who knows maybe your paths will cross in the future.

The earthquakes have stopped but the air still feels heavy because of whatever evil energy is flowing with it. We still have no idea at all who the culprit is or how they used the Osiris Necklace, but I'm sure they're trying to awaken the evil force within the Great Pyramid. We're still trying to decipher the remaining texts, come see me again.
